The Team:

AMD DevSecOps Team is an integral part of the AMD IT organization. We integrate and support every phase of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and work closely with fellow developers to enable seamless collaboration between AMD teams and partners. The DevSecOps team enables  software developers to build secure and high-quality applications and products by integrating various security tools, enabling unit test, automated tests with pipeline as a template.

The Role:

As staff in DevSecOps team, you will leverage your expertise in defining the guidelines and procedures for future enhancements and development efforts related to DevOps in order to guarantee a high level of service and support to our teams well into the future.

You will work with global team members to improve tool processes and workflows, as well as development teams to advise on best possible solutions. Besides this, you will be working with various teams remotely and support developers on DevSecOps operations and projects.

You  will be working on building new capability to the team. Besides this, you will be performing new tool evaluation and provide recommendations to the team

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs and translate to IT requirement and implementation.
• Incident management, root cause analysis, coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• To manage, enhance and deploy DevSecOps services
• To automate workflows between GitHub, ServiceNow. AppSec tools and Azure services
• Work with various teams and lead the team for tools integration, evaluation and implementation purposes.
• To generate/provide visibilities for all DevSecOps related usage, costing and operations.
• To establish, enhance and implement processes for DevSecOps
• To work with global team to onboard applications to DevSecOps pipeline as template.
• To integrate various tools to DevSecOps pipeline
• Mentor junior members in the team

Preferred skills and experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
• 4-5 years in scripting languages like Perl, python, Java and shell
• Good understanding in Azure DevOps related functionalities and DevSecOps processes.
• Experienced in SSO integration using SaaS based products.
• Excellent communication skills to work as part of a global organization.
• Experienced in developing pipeline as code
• Cloud platforms experience an advantage.
• Good understanding in Kubernetes and Container registry
