THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Financial Analyst to join the Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) finance team. The ideal candidate will be the key finance partner to provide critical support in budgeting, planning, and consolidation activities specifically focused on OpEx and CapEx within the FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) business area. In this position, you will work closely with the Senior BU Leadership Team and other stakeholders to drive the thoughtful analysis and provide valuable financial insights and guidance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. The candidate should be a self-starter, have ability to work independently with minimum direction, have a high sense of collaboration, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.   

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with senior leadership team to develop annual operation plan and long-term financial plan aligned with business strategy. Drive discussions on financial targets, resource allocation and performance scenario analysis to facility the decision-making process.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders on monthly and quarterly forecast updates. Serve as a trusted finance partner to help business partners delivery the financial targets.
  • Responsible for AECG OpEx consolidation by collaborating with other finance team members, and conduct variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to support decision making.
  • Provide month-end and quarter-end accounting and financial support.
  • Provide day-to-day financial approval for purchase requisition requests, headcount requisition and CapEx requisition against budget.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline budgeting, planning, and consolidation activities. Help drive the process improvement to increase efficiency. 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and planning roles, preferably within the semiconductor industry or related technology sector.
  • Solid understanding of OpEx and CapEx management principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis tools (e.g., SAP, SAC, AO reporting tool).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and influence decision-making.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
