Description:  Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Skilled and experienced professional who is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for an organization's cloud computing environments. Candidates must have a background in security and significant experience working in cloud computing environments. Some specific responsibilities include:

1. Stong partner with business teams and IT teams to address risk, develop standards and implement security within the cloud environements.
2. Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud environments.
3. Identifying and assessing cloud-specific security risks and vulnerabilities, and implementing measures to mitigate them.
4. Configuring and managing security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies, to protect cloud-based systems and data.
5. Monitoring and analyzing security logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
6. Investigating and resolving security breaches and vulnerabilities.
7. Collaborating with other members of the IT team to ensure that cloud-based systems are integrated with the organization's overall security strategy.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and best practices, and staying informed about new threats and vulnerabilities.
9. Providing guidance and mentorship to other members of the security team.
10. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
11. Participating in incident response planning, testing and execution.
12. Automation of security controls using various script languages.
13. Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP.

A Senior Cloud Security Engineer should have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and services, as well as a deep understanding of security best practices and technologies. They should also have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition, they should have experience managing and mentoring other security professionals, and have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Secuirty Sertifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other

Degree in Compute Science preferred
