The opportunity

Unity Engine is used by millions of creators around the world to build powerful and engaging real-time experiences. At the heart of this is Content Pipeline, bringing assets from DCCs to deployment on device. In the Content Build team, we focus on taking live Editor content through to the packaging and bundling stage, and the construction of the final application for deployment. As a Staff Software Developer, you are a leading force in the industry, with extensive experiences with content build systems and with Unity.

What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of and assist with driving the technical strategy of the Content Build team
• Collaborate with product management, design, and architecture teams across the content pipeline organization
• Present your ideas with your peers during regular technical syncs
• Support the members of your engineering team as they advance in their career goals

What we're looking for

• Expert with content build systems
• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer, and a working familiarity with C++ and C#
• Experience with Unity
• Understanding of the modern engine systems and content pipeline architectures and experience of working on real-world productions or a large multi-platform engine
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

You might also have

• Experience with different compression formats
• Experience with load systems
