The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive our EMEA strategy and demand for AMD-based Supermicro products. The primary focus is to work directly with Supermicro, Customers and Partners to win market share and grow sales for our AMD EPYC processor and AMD Instinct GPU product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the regional enterprise sales strategy with Supermicro
  • Forecasting of business, opportunity tracking, QBRs, growth plans to hit sales targets and MDF management
  • Own executive relationships, meeting cadence and communication in region
  • Grow enterprise CPU & graphics sales & market share
  • Be part of a global AMD enterprise sales-out team and work with a network of specialists, technical, and business unit resources to drive the customer’s direct sales bid participation and distribution/partner sales opportunities
  • Partner with executives, sales, pre-sales and product marketing organizations on business growth opportunities
  • In conjunction with our dedicated channel team, work to expand and grow business within key partners in the region
  • Establish and report on a quarterly business review
  • Coordinate and support events and training and collaborate with AMD marketing & event teams to improve AMD presence and amplify the partnership
  • Work closely with AMD BU to ensure the necessary operations requirements are in place to drive efficient customer transactions
  • Coordinate and close sales pipeline opportunities between Supermicro's regional teams and AMD
  • Drive channel programs and sales with partners
  • Funnel new market opportunities to the AMD design-in and business unit teams

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven sales and/or product experience in the server market, preferably with a background in AI and semiconductors in the enterprise and commercial segment
  • A proven track record of success in complex design cycles and sales
  • Working experience with a similar customer profile is preferred
  • Work experience with a major server OEM is preferred as is experience in dealing with Channel partners
  • Clear understanding of sales process, forecasting and bid management
  • Strong understanding of Supermicro’s server portfolio is preferred

 

Academic Credentials:

University or four-year college degree in Business, Engineering, Science or equivalent experience

 

Location:

United Kingdom or Germany (Munich) is preferred. Located near a major airport as travel will be required.
