The Role:  Night Shift Supervisor

To lead and supervise the ATE Semiconductor Lab Night Shift Operators and Technician Team to achieve 100% on-time test infrastructure bring up, product test/yield development, charz, samples generation & qualification execution per POR plan for all NPI programs.

  • Possesses leadership skills and is able to motivate subordinates to achieve planned objectives.
  • Is Independent, resourceful and takes initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Actively mentor operators and technicians to achieve business goals and personal development.
  • Fosters good teamwork to improve productivity.

 

The Role:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly employees on assigned shift.
  • Plan equipment and manpower resources effectively to achieve scheduled work order commitment for engineering samples and activities.
  • Manage lab equipment utilization and maintenance process during assigned shift.
  • Collaborate and liaise with both on site and remote Product Engineers in engineering evaluation plan, execution and result analysis.
  • Assist hardware development engineers in performing and bring up new equipment. 
  • Provide clear, concise and timely engineering samples/activities deliverables update/status report with real time information, test result and details.
  • Collaborate with other shift supervisors on shift passdown and handover.
  • Responsible for maintaining best manufacturing practices and regulatory includes test floor 5S improvement, LEAN implementation, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance, Emergency Response Team member (as assigned) and ISO9001 compliance.
  • Job induction, coaching, and discipline shift employees with diverse language, cultural and educational background

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of ATE test equipment maintenance, calibration and operation
  • Experience in shift operations and able to perform night and weekend shift
  • Previous experience as an ATE Lab Technical
  • Good knowledge of Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient Semiconductor testing and Automated Test Equipment. (ATE) Experience
  • Good technical knowledge on ATE Equipment & testing document and experienced in equipment verification, repair and problem solving.
  • Hands-on experience, analytical & systematic approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge on 5S, EHS, ISO9001 and other best practice measurement 

 

Education:

Engineering Degree
