THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Engineer, who with their systems engineering expertise will seek challenges with customer targeted products, related to quality and customer experience. With that forethought, working multi-functionally early will ensure full engagement with our core automation, product engineering, and other teams helping sew quality in at every step. These skills will help provide a tactical execution of your goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain efficient AMD Evaluation Platform example designs.
  • Develop and maintain succinct documentation and User Guides.
  • Develop quality-driven processes around AMD FPGA/SoC solutions.
  • Advocate and lead with a positive customer experience.
  • Support technical support group on critical Evaluation Platform issues.
  • Work with cross-geographic and cross-functional teams.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Possess problem solving, organization and hand-on system level debugging skill.
  • Experienced in creating internal and/or customer facing detailed documentation.
  • Experienced in driving solutions to resolution, with minimal guidance.
  • Familiarity with AMD Vivado, TCL scripting for design implementation.
  • Familiarity with AMD Vitis, AMD SoC, AMD Versal, ARM architecture and toolchain.
  • Experience with Python scripting and developing GUI.
  • Familiarity with schematic design and layout.
  • Familiarity with version control methodology.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters Computer Engineering
