The Datacenter Graphics and Accelerated Computing (DCGPU) organization is looking for a motivated individual that is willing to take on the challenge of coding up requirements to achieve At Scale / Fleet requirements for handling both Batch/Validation jobs as well Code Level integration/deployment

 

THE PERSON: 

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will drive scalable and automated solutions. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to help define a methodology to be put in place for the entire organization as well code up/develop solutions, validate the solution that is coded up, root cause issues, and produce a full deployable product.   As well have the ability to handle request and issues from external individuals and resolve those via changes being made.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Driving technical innovation to improve AMD’s capabilities across product development and validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives 
  • Coding up requirements to meet At Scale deployment as well as Fleet Management
  • Drive individual schedules to achieve
  • Validate code as such working and in line with design methodologies
  • Field any issues/concerns and address those via code enhancements/changes
  • Working closely with supporting functional validation teams for improvements/needs
  • Engaging in key framework put in place and utilize as well think of new innovative approaches
  • Leading collaborative approaches with multiple teams 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Programming/scripting skills (Proficient Python is a MUST, C/C++, Orc3, Scripting) 
  • Software debug techniques and methodologies
  • Linux OS knowledge
  • Experience with validating test scenarios and coming up with resolutions
  • Experience with software life cycle and working issues through JIRA
  • Knowledge of system architecture and validation strategies 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical, computer engineering or computer science
