Job Title:Systems Design Intern - Sledgehammer Games
As a Systems Design Intern, you will help build groundbreaking systems for our game.
You will build relationships with people in other departments and participate in a studio culture that values collaboration and learning. You will work with a mentor on a shipping title, and earn a AAA credit in the process.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Implement designs and concepts using in-house tools with support from a mentor
- Work with artists, engineers, animators, and audio experts to bring designs to life
- Constantly iterate on game mechanics and game systems to ‘find the fun’ based on user feedback and design goals
- Refine gameplay to ensure we achieve AAA levels of polish
The ideal candidate for this role…
- Has experience designing fun and engaging experiences for players (personal or professional)
- Has some experience with programming or scripting in C/C++, Lua, or other languages
- Can solve problems creatively and collaboratively
- Is eager to learn new skills!
