KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate solutions from partners and generate performance evaluation reports
- Demonstrate software development skills and proficiency, and develop a set of the PoCs to show the value of FPGA acceleration solutions for data center customers
- Provide appropriate software customization to meet short-term customer requirements
- Understand system-level solution architecture and enable appropriate software architectural framework to meet the customer requirements
- Engage with internal engineering teams as well as vast ecosystem partners to drive technical requirements and define the direction for future products
- Exercise technical oversight for seamless feature integration and test coverage for data center application deployment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong interest in enabling hardware-accelerated systems
- Excellent C/C++/OpenCL programming and problem-solving skills
- Experience with application development in Linux environment
- Must have a complete understanding datacenter workload from both HW and SW
- Comfortable in architecture discussions with system/software architects, system-level architecture
- Must be a hands-on, self-starter who makes and follows through on commitments
- Experience in Heterogenous system programming
- Knowledge of and experience with Containers, Virtual Machines is a plus
- Experience with Run-Time Environment
- Experience with Xilinx/AMD software framework is a definite plus
- Foundational skills/work experience using Java, Python,
- Exposure to OpenCL or CUDA
- Experience working on RESTful APIs
- Experience or coursework in FPGA digital design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Please do not apply unless you have):
- BS + 5 (or more) years of post-college experience, or MS + 3 (or more) years of post-college experience, or PhD + 1 year of post-college experience
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BS, MS or PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
