Ubisoft Bordeaux studio is looking for a Technical Quest Designer (F/M/NB) to join the production team for an ambitious new game based on a Ubisoft AAA license.

Responsibilities :  

  • Create and maintain synthetic technical documentation.
  • Create and maintain strong channels of communication with other jobs (World Building, narration…)
  • Maintain a strong support toward Quest Designers (scripting guidelines, technical investigations, naming convention definitions, appliance and monitoring, automated error dispatch).
  • Node-based scripting templates & methodology appliance and optimization.
  • Create, improve and follow-up tools (production, debug)
  • Define and perform Quest technical reviews (content, priorities…)
  • Organized and rigorous, able to reach objectives in due time.
  • Predilection for working with other jobs (narration, Level Design, Real, Sound…)
  • Credit on one or more published titles.
  • Experience in Quest Design.
  • Experience in Tech Design, preferably on node-based gameplay scripting.
  • Good video game culture on narrative-oriented projects.
  • Synthetic expression (for documentation writing and video presentation).

Contract : fixed-term contract

Location : based in Bordeaux – France

Remote : hybrid model

Starting date : September 2024
