THE ROLE:

Delivering high quality products is paramount to AMD’s continuing success and future growth. 

This is a challenging cross-functional Senior technical leadership role in AMD's System IP organization managing end to end delivery of AMDs next generation architecture across product families.

We’re looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead in semiconductor design who has a proven track record of driving Communication, Process, Program improvements, and delivering product on time and at high quality.

 

THE PERSON:

You thrive in driving collaboration effectively with cross-discipline, multi-site global teams on complex features that span multiple products. You are looking to have a significant influence through your knowledge in system flows involving Debug, Security, DFT, Reliability and platform enablement. You are interested in managing deep technical and diverse discussions, communicating plans, issues, and progress all towards the end of driving solutions for complex technical problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive and deliver complex features spanning HW, SW and FW components involving cross sites, functions, teams and organizations.
  • Manage tasks that are multi-component, multi-layered, and involve state of the art HW, SW, and FW components.
  • Provide Technical Leadership and influence in most aspects of semiconductor lifecycle: Design, validation and Manufacturing process.
    • Includes Understanding dependencies and deliverables for the system flows involving debuggability, security, quality of service, DFT, reliability, and platform enablement. 
    • Includes Understanding of IP and SOC global feature architecture: Debug, Security, DFT, Reliability and platform interactions. 
    • Includes clearly communicating plans, issues, and progress.
  • Engage in deep technical discussions to help identify and drive process and program improvements with cross-discipline, multi-site global teams.
  • Provide communication to Senior Technical and Management Leadership regarding process, issues, and progress.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
