Technical NPI Program Manager

The Role:

AMD-Pensando is seeking a seasoned Technical NPI Program Manager to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team, partnering with Supply Chain Management, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Fulfillment Operations to support development activities, transition from product concept and production ramp up.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal cross functional team and CM to plan development activities and develop program schedule.
  • Develop production volume projection and test capacity planning.
  • Understanding of alternate sourcing, qualification and BOM risk assessment.
  • Develop phase gate release criteria and enforcing it with cross functional support.
  • Support failure analysis activities with vendor and partners.
  • Support manufacturing test platform improvement activities, qualification and deploy to CM.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 8+ years of program management experiences in product development and contract manufacturing management preferred.
  • Knowledge with ASIC, DDR, Optics, and PCBA assembly is a plus
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and customer focused yet flexible and adaptable to business needs
  • High level of teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced changing business environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering is required, Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred.
