THE ROLE:
We are looking for a senior technical team member to manage, grow and build relationships within the engineering community of one of the most dynamic data center customers in the world. This role will be front and center leading all technical conversations with customers/partners across the full portfolio of AMD products. This role will be a critical role to understand and translate customer architecture requirements into product requirements for roadmap investments and decisions at AMD. Promoting individual and combined value proposition of multiple AMD products together will also be a key attribute for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and implement sales-in strategies that grow revenue base and market share for the business
- Support core infrastructure and enterprise teams with their needs and provide feedback into BU/Engineering
- Build a robust operational execution plan and make sure it runs efficiently
- Work with AMD Business Unit teams to drive product strategy and development into procurement and engineering teams at the customer
- Find ways to provide opportunities and cultivate executive relationships to become highly reliable partner for our customer
- Close collaboration with cross-matrix teams to ensure value propositions that meet the needs of our customer.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of CPU architecture, platform design and key interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, CXL, power management, and RAS
- CPU performance evaluation. Able to drive performance discussions with engineering teams
- Complete understanding of popular benchmarks, such as SpecCPU, SpecjBB, Stream, etc.
- Understand and drive GPU system architecture discussions, including AI model performance needs, and system level design
- Engage with customers on future technical requirements (CPU, GPU and networking), provide clear feedback to AMD product teams on customer requirements to steer AMD product direction
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Customer: Experience working with Cloud Service Provider (CSPs)/Mega Data Centers (MDC) in infrastructure capacity
- Sales: Have experience in developing a new customer or stream of revenue for existing customer (Preferred: CSP/MSP)
- Technical Knowledge: Well verse in data center architecture to promote a technical solution encompassing CPU, GPU, Networking, and Systems.
- Collaboration: Proven success in a comparable role and demonstrated efficiency in working in cross-matrix organization
- Adaptable: Proven ability to adapt to internal and customer culture, while having the confidence to influence cross functional team and customers to new ideas that create win-win partnerships
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
BS or MS in Engineering Discipline and/or relevant experience.
