Video Designer (Remote, Contractor for 1 year)

We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with regional KRAFTON offices located across the globe.
Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers the Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.
We are seeking an enthusiastic video designer to support our creative department in producing videos to promote key KRAFTON titles. Primary duties will involve capturing in-game footage, editing video, and motion graphics, and producing high-quality content for social media and online promotions. Applicants should possess good technical knowledge to work within a game dev environment and have experience in video production to a high-quality standard.
Basic Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Publishing, PR, and regional teams—to determine the best design and assets to create visual stories that align with marketing and product strategies.
- Capture and edit gameplay footage and still images for trailers, marketing videos, and store assets that highlight key game features and create visually compelling player experiences.
- Lead video production process, from brainstorming and storyboarding to editing and delivering high-quality and polished content across platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, website, etc.)
- Work closely with the creative team to pitch fresh and creative video concepts above and beyond the brief, to support marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and other content initiatives, keeping the content engaging and relevant to the audience.
- Be detail-oriented to make sure technical specs are accurately applied and the assets are delivered within the agreed timeframe.
Required experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in related fields.
- Experience in the gaming industry, preferably recording gameplay for promotional materials.
- Knowledge of post-production pipeline; video compression standards, aspect ratios, preferred formats for the different social media platforms, frame rates, and HD post-production workflows.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office or other similar products.
- Strong creative and cinematic story-telling skills, with a clearly defined design point of view (please provide your portfolio of previous work with your application).
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics (After Effects), video file formats, and codecs related to digital publishing.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
