As a Video Strategist, you’ll join the Fare Care team and report to the Manager, Multimedia. You’ll be responsible for editing video content to complement and enhance our help experiences for our online audience. You’ll work with teams across Fan Care and the rest of EA to bring our brand to life through clever digital content on our help channels. 



  • Video Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and produce informative and captivating videos that assist gamers in understanding the mechanics, strategies, and nuances of their favorite EA games.
  • Gameplay Capture: Record high-quality gameplay footage that showcases key gameplay elements, tips, and tricks to enhance player experience.
  • Editing Expertise: Edit and enhance captured footage to create polished, visually appealing, and easy-to-follow videos that resonate with our gaming community.
  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy aligned with player needs, focusing on onboarding new players and helping existing players improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Game Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of EA games, staying up-to-date with game updates and new launches.
  • User Engagement: Collaborate with the EA Help team to gather feedback from players, analyze player behavior, and continuously improve video content to address player needs effectively.
  • Cross-Platform Adaptation: Adapt video content for various platforms and ensure it is optimized across platforms.
  • Metrics Analysis: Monitor the performance of video content through analytics tools, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize impact.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage video production projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, to ensure the timely release of content.


  • A deep passion for gaming, particularly with a strong understanding of EA games.
  • 3+ years experience in video production, gameplay capture, and video editing.
  • You have a portfolio of your previous work that you’re proud of.
  • You have proficiency in your chosen video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • You’re skilled at animating text and transitions to enhance the quality of a video.
  • You have experience crafting multimedia that conveys stories, drives action, and appeals to different learning styles and audiences.
  • You have experience developing methods and processes for improving content accessibility and the user experience.


  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as graphic design, digital filmmaking, or marketing.
  • Knowledge of top social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and their success metrics.
  • Ability to adapt to changing media trends and updates.
