THE ROLE:

This is a position within the AI GPU Software Group (AGS) responsible for AMD's ML SDK initiatives, including GitHub Community Support, ROCm documentation, and visualizers for profiling tools. We have a unique role where the candidate will get a chance to work on the visualizer of our profiling tools. You will get to work with Profiling Tools Team and Product Management teams in defining and developing the visualizer

 

THE PERSON:

We are seeking someone who is passionate about AI in AMD, creative on pushing boundary for GUI tool development, and able to work patiently and with minimum supervision.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Profiling tools teams and Product Management to define the visualizer requirement
  • Collaborate with 3rd Party Open-Source visualizer for development
  • Design, Code, test, integrate and deliver UI/Visualizer components to both internal and external customers.
  • Productization support such as fixing field issues
  • Provide status update to upper management
  • This is an on-site role as the hiring team will require the candidate to work in the Markham office.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Visualization
  • Building interactive and non-interactive user interface
  • Web development and Databases
  • Experience in one or more languages - Java, JS, HTML/CSS, Typescript, Python, Ruby.
  • Familiar with Linux, Github, development environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Performance analysis tools and methods
  • Component Integration
  • Experience in custom tools development on Open Source platforms
  • Exposure to Micro Services, REST APIs and Packaging is an added advantage.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
