As a Web Developer, you will join the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO) team in Montreal, a part of Ubisoft IT. Specifically, you will be part of a team within the Brand domain, whose role is to create data solutions for the future to deepen and share knowledge of the video game market, our consumers, and their expectations.

The strategic vision of this team focuses on sharing our data visually through technology much more advanced than simple reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and UDO teams to design, deploy, and maintain web data visualization interfaces.
  • Propose innovative approaches to data visualization to facilitate analysis and decision-making for creative teams.
  • Participate in defining the architecture of these interfaces, establishing development standards and workflows with the support of the Brand domain and UDO.
  • Configure secure access and usage tracking features for these solutions and interfaces.
  • Iteratively improve products, paying particular attention to quality, especially the technical performance of the developed products.
  • Respond effectively to changes in requirements or design.
  • Contribute to technological watch and monitoring: technology, best practices, languages, tools, and processes.
  • Professional experience as a Web Developer leading end-to-end projects.
  • Proficiency in web programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Angular, Vue, React, and back-end framework Django.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with functional teams.
  • Skills and knowledge that would be a plus for this position: Interest in ARCgis and Qgis, concepts of continuous integration with GitLab, CI/CD, data, and interest in video games.

Just a heads up: If you require a work permit, your eligibility may depend on your education and years of relevant work experience, as required by the government.

Skills and competencies show up in different forms and can be based on different experiences, that is why we strongly encourage you to apply even though you may not have all the requirements listed above.

At Ubisoft, we embrace diversity in all its forms. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment for all. We know the importance of providing a pleasant interview experience, therefore if you need any accommodations, please let us know if there is anything we can do to facilitate the interview process.
