Office work
We are searching for a dedicated Financial Controller to join our recently established office in Boston. You will be responsible for all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. If you're interested in such a challenge, join us!
Daily Responsibilites:
- Ownership of the Month Close Process covering General Ledger Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, Fixed Assets, Various Adjustments, Bank Reconciliations and more across multiple NA locations, legal entities.
- Provide Key Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial, Cash and Consolidation Reports to management and leadership teams.
- Develop and maintain Studio and Project Budgets (both short and long term).
- Payroll oversight, processing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and complete Financial Records.
- Treasury and Banking Function, AP, AR, Payments.
- Build financial processes and systems from the ground up to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Streamline financial workflows and reporting to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and technology integration.
- Working with external tax partners to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience (preferably in Video Game or other Technology Industry).
- Proven track record of managing financial operations for multiple legal entities.
- Exposure to international finance experience, with the ability to work effectively across borders.
- Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prior experience in building and improving financial processes and building financial teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (SAP By Design, Excel, PowerBi, Concur).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
- Ability to “dig into problems” and find solutions with minimal supervision.
- Exception attention to detail and ability to produce error-free results
- Working knowledge of OKRs to set and track strategic objectives and key results.
