What an Assistant Video Editor does at EA:
As an Assistant Video Editor, you will report to a Senior Video Editor and partner with a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing content is delivered at the highest quality and competed on a world class level. You will support the Editorial team with direction from the Lead Editor or Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Help edit video content for several platforms, such as social media, websites, and television
- Collaborate with creative teams, including writers, producers, and creatives, to develop video concepts and implement them
- Incorporate feedback from Producers and Creatives and make necessary revisions to ensure the final product meets their expectations
- Ensure the video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience editing a variety of successful projects.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Solid knowledge of computers and video post technology, pipelines, and workflows.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Motion graphics experience using After Effects.
- Listen and filter information, reach conclusions and take appropriate actions to support project execution.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $63,400 - $86,500 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
