THE ROLE:
The Corporate Finance Leader, FP&A leads company-wide financial planning processes, aligns financial models with business objectives, ensures accurate reporting and analysis, and collaborates with senior leaders to drive strategic goals. This pivotal role within AMD’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis function focuses on transforming processes, delivering critical insights, and supporting investment decisions and key initiatives in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead company-wide processes for annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyze performance and trends by monitoring KPIs and business unit financials.
- Develop long-range plans, financial operating models, and sensitivity analyses aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with business leaders to create and prepare models for long-term financial success.
- Drive FP&A process improvements to support scaling as the business grows.
- Prepare Board, company, and business financial reporting materials.
- Partner with senior leaders to streamline processes and enhance accounting and reporting activities.
- Support M&A activities, including financial modeling and due diligence.
- Lead project control efforts to ensure accurate program execution and revenue recognition.
- Implement reporting software to enhance financial and program reporting accuracy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive FP&A experience with increasing responsibility in a multinational, publicly traded high-tech environment.
- Expertise in short-term and long-term financial modeling.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for managing tasks and engaging with leadership.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP for technology industries.
- Experience in business intelligence reporting, program management, and M&A financial modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
- Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred.
