As a Senior Data Scientist on our team, you will be a key player in shaping the future of education by developing solutions that drive impact on user behaviour. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other data professionals to leverage experimental frameworks, supporting machine learning initiatives, and utilizing your strong sense of product metrics to drive decision-making and improve our customer experience. • Drive business impact on key customer needs by working proactively with team leads and senior leaders
• Drive improvements in customer experience through the application of strong analytical techniques, statistics, and machine learning
• Provide high-quality insights for key business outcomes by developing solutions to enhance best practices in the experimental design framework
• Effectively communicate complex ideas about customer needs to a wide audience across various levels of the organization
• Utilize knowledge of best practices in analytical techniques to advance the program's data maturity model
• Think critically about self-service and implement ideas across multiple areas, including improving dashboard performance, maintaining quality standards, facilitating knowledge discovery, and promoting data quality excellence
• Support key team and data departmental processes, provide mentorship to junior data scientists, and contribute to team peer review
• Collaborate with other data teams and team members, actively sharing insights and participating in joint projects to understand business and products

• 5+ years of proven experience supporting key business decisions through experimental frameworks and high-impact analysis that lead to business outcomes
• A deep understanding of product analytics, its relationship to customer behavior, and its impact on key business KPIs
• Enthusiasm for the products developed, with a keenness to enhance customer value and assist product owners in prioritizing improvement efforts
• Ability to develop minimal viable solutions that can be rapidly iterated on and improved into full productionalized solutions
• Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, building dashboards for monitoring KPI performance, and data modeling using tools such as SQL, Python, and R
• Collaboration skills to provide and receive feedback while working with different data or product team members
• Communication skills to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience and convey their implications on strategic direction
• Takes full ownership of a wide range of problems across different spaces and collaborates with teams to develop innovative solutions delivered against timelines
