In this role you would support EPYC customers across cloud, enterprise and HPC segments throughout the product lifecycle.

THE PERSON:

You must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment and thrive on collaboration. This role is inherently cross-discipline in nature as you will interact regularly with many different teams and functions including platform applications engineering, ecosystem enabling, product management, business segment, sales, field applications engineering, and core internal engineering teams. You must have a solid foundation in server engineering, have successfully delivered products in mass production, and be willing and able to quickly learn key aspects of the technology in order to be conversant and effective in new areas with minimal ramp time. You also possess outstanding people skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive execution of all programs across the product lifecycle. Treat each account comprehensively including new product introduction (NPI), sustaining, and strategic initiatives and collaboration areas. Ensure new products launch on time with quality.
  • Synthesize information and produce materials to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must be an outstanding communicator with ability to adjust content to the target audience.

  • Deliver technical documentation and collaterals to customers in conjunction with internal counterparts.
  • Act as a customer advocate internally to ensure customer needs are comprehended and appropriately factored into operations and decision-making.
  • Build a broad and deep network across accounts to ensure open lines of communication and foster collaboration. Utilize relationships and frequent interactions to sense potential problems early, triangulate with counterparts in sales and business segment teams, and address issues proactively.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to partner more closely with customers in support of mutual objectives such as co-design, co-validation, or new and different working models.
  • Apply engineering experience and judgment to manage customer requests, issues, and tickets. Direct debug activities and drive closure in a timely manner.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in CPU and Data center markets including a foundation in engineering and at least 5 years leading large and complex programs.
