THE ROLE: 

 

As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s product portfolio, you will be part of a high-performance AMD team driving the delivery of high quality, industry-leading technology to the market. THE PERSON: 

 

We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat systems memory leader to join our growing team passionate about delivering leading-edge technology. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead and grow a global memory controller team developing state of the art IP for server, datacenter, and consumer/enterprise markets for AMD.
  • Drive micro-architecture, design, implementation, and verification with innovative solutions for solving end to end product and time to market challenges
  • Proactively leading project planning, developing, and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of work you are doing at committed milestones
  • Working directly with our customers and partners to ensure their memory solutions meet industry best requirements 
  • Develop metrics and communication mechanisms to allow for continuous improvements in execution and faster decision-making at the management and executive levels
  • Collaborates with global leadership to design a high quality and scalable organization for the growing market needs.
  • Coaches and mentors' staff 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering management and technical leadership experience
  • Experience in end to end life-cycle of a product from concept to production
  • Experience with controller-PHY interactions and working with VIP vendors is desired.
  • Experience with DDR and LPDDR interfaces and controller in desired.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of engineering fields and management 
  • Solid understanding of the technologies, capabilities and challenges involved
  • Expertise in firmware, software, and hardware 
  • Experience in driving and collaborating with global teams. 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
