Snowdrop is a powerful game engine that enables Ubisoft content creators to set their creative minds free. Fast and flexible, Snowdrop gives developers innovative tools designed from the ground up for creating the unknown. Snowdrop provides the perfect canvas for game developers to paint the games of the future.   

As a Technical Writer in the Snowdrop team, you will own content review and support content contribution, ensuring adherence to guidelines to maintain content quality across all repositories. You'll be the “content police”, tasked with aligning content to a unified level of quality, writing and rewriting where necessary, closing the feedback loop to our contributors and ensuring that all content is digestible and engaging to our users.

What you’ll do  

  • Review content across different repositories with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Translate technical information into user-friendly content. 
  • Conduct checks against our content guidelines and rewrite or edit content as needed. 
  • Handle a variety of content-related queries and requests. 
  • Work closely with teams of technical experts to gather technical information and insights and assist them with writing tasks. 
  • Provide constructive feedback on delivered content and communicate effectively with content contributors. 
  • Collaborate transversally with other teams, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.

  • Strong writing skills and proficiency in English. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback. 
  • Background in technical writing or software development preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Git, games or game engines is a bonus.
