THE ROLE:

The Operations Specialist will be responsible to ensure timely and accurate Distributor resale, inventory & rebate processing, and reconciliation activities through collaboration with Revenue Accounting, Regional Finance, Customer Ops and Sales team. The individual joining the Distributor Operations team will have the opportunity to grow professionally as the team embarks on the journey to support the business growth.

  • Assertive, creative and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful, analytical, logical and diligent with good eye for details.
  • Focusing on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Team player and able to work with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines.
  • Able to self-sustain and adapt to changes according to the business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Distributor resale, inventory and rebate processing & reconciliation.
  • Involvement in reporting & analysis in aid of decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies, GAAP & SOX key controls.
  • Support IT project assignments and process improvements.
  • Attend / drive meeting and conference calls.
  • Support internal and external audit request.
  • Perform DPA rebates accrual analysis to support regional finance and revenue for better accrual accuracy.
  • Prepare reports & presentation decks for business partners.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA skills are required.
  • Experience connecting or dealing with multiple data sources using Excel, Power BI, SQL, MS Access or other tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiar with reporting and data analysis.
  • Effective communication skills with good spoken and written English (Chinese language is an added advantage).
  • SAP/ other ERP system knowledge is an added advantage.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance or any equivalent accounting professional qualification with 5 to 6 years’ working experience.
