THE ROLE:

As a Senior Manager, Logistics at AMD, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations across North America. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our cutting-edge products to customers worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and sales, to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the logistics team to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, while driving global process consistency
  • Lead the Processor in a Box (PIB) kitting line and tray location in North America, including production operations, warehouse daily operations, and freight management.
  • Manage the PIB supplier relationship and production output.
  • Co-Manage all logistics operations in North America, including warehouse operations in Austin, Miami, Markham, and San Jose.
  • Manage relationships with logistics and carrier partners, ensuring high service levels.
  • Serve as the SAP super-user for ERP system support.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including team development, FP&A, and all related logistics support activities
  • Develop and manage budgets and costs and analyze data to drive decisions.
  • Provide reporting to the Corporate Logistics team and manage relationships with other AMD logistics locations in Asia and EMEA.
  • Participate in global bids and contracts and proactively research new opportunities for cost savings and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee DC activities, including shipment, inventory control, SAP/INCA fallouts, put away, receiving, and transportation needs.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics inquiries/issues and support global SAP operations.
  • Serve as the liaison for all yearly audits.
  • Develop and drive actions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and global team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with logistics software and systems, including SAP.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Great command of both verbal and written English and Spanish

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus.
